Stephanie is an associate at McLarty Wolf. She currently focuses her practice on a range of civil litigation matters, including property disputes, estate litigation, elder abuse claims, insurance disputes, and commercial litigation. Stephanie enjoys advocating for her clients, and provides practical and thorough advice when approaching a legal issue.
Stephanie obtained her J.D. from the University of Victoria and her B.A. from McGill University. At the University of Victoria, Stephanie served on the editorial board for UVic’s law journal, APPEAL, and worked as a research assistant in environmental law. She also assisted the BC Ministry of Aboriginal Relations and Reconciliation with implementing treaties and agreements, and volunteered for the UBC Law Students’ Legal Advice Program.
After law school, Stephanie gained experience in civil litigation, regulatory compliance, and business law. She provided in-house legal and regulatory compliance support to financial services entities, and represented clients in commercial, family, and strata-related disputes at BC Supreme and Provincial Courts.
Outside of work, Stephanie is active in the local community. In 2016, she was a volunteer lawyer for the Access Pro Bono Going Public Advice-A-Thon in Vancouver, raising funds and providing legal advice to clients in need. Stephanie currently is a proud volunteer for the Canucks Autism Network, the Pacific Assistance Dogs Society, and Sole Girls. She will be participating in the BMO and Scotiabank half-marathons in 2017.
She is a member of The Canadian Bar Association, The Advocates’ Society, the Trial Lawyers Association of BC, and the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers.
