Riminder is an associate at McLarty Wolf. She currently practices in the areas of estate litigation, elder abuse, commercial litigation and personal injury. She assists clients with wills variation claims, technical challenges to a will, contested trusts, committeeship applications and elder abuse. Riminder also assists with landlord and tenant disputes under the Residential Tenancy Act.
Riminder holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from UNBC and obtained her law degree from the University of Sussex in the UK. Riminder was called to the BC bar in 2015 and practiced in the Okanagan before moving to the lower mainland. Riminder practiced in several areas of the law in the Okanagan, including wills and estates (planning, administration and litigation), family law, employment law, personal injury, corporate law, commercial litigation, and real estate.
Outside of work, Riminder has been actively involved in a number of committees and boards in the past. She was a committee member of Violence against Women in Relationships, sat on the Board of the Okanagan College and the board of Vernon and District Immigrants Services Society. She presently sits on the board of Affiliation of Multicultural Societies and Agencies of BC.
When not working or volunteering, you can find Riminder hiking, running trails, with family or friends or at a yoga class. When she finds the time, she loves reading and travelling.
Currently, Riminder is a member of the Law Society of BC, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Advocates’ Society.
